I am sure by now many of you have heard that Roy Minnick passed away on September 29. As an educator, author, speaker, friend, book publisher and provider, Roy has touched all of our lives at some time during our professional development. With the permission and support of his wife, Jean, The California Foundation for Land Surveying Education (C.F.L.S.E.) has created the Roy Minnick Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship has a twofold purpose. One, to provide scholarships to worthy students to help acquire an education in surveying and, two, as a means of perpetuating the memory of this truly wonderful man. Please help C.F.L.S.E. in this endeavor by making a donation to the fund. The names of all donors, regardless of the amount of the donation, will be publicly acknowledged at the time the scholarships are awarded unless requested otherwise. All donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
